Overview

Coherent Femtosecond High Energy Pulse SourceThe Micra is a broad spectral bandwidth (>100 nm) ultrafast Ti:Sapphire oscillator.  When combined with the Legend Elite High-Energy Ti:Sapphire Amplifier and the Opera Solo ultrafast optical parametric amplifier it can produce femtosecond time scale optical pulses from 300-2600nm

• Micra-5 Broadband Ultrafast Ti:Sapphire Oscillator
• Legend Elite High-Energy Ti:Sapphire Amplifier (USP-HE)
• Opera Solo Ultrafast Optical Parametric Amplifier (OPerA-SOLO-UV/VIS)

The femtosecond laser along with a C5680 series Hammatsu streak camera are used for the advanced characterisation of ultra-fast processes for photonic systems
