Overview

The APEX AP2441B is an optical complex spectrum analyser capable of high resolution measurements of spectral intensity and phase in the c-band (optical communications band).

The APEX will be used for the characterisation of next generation optical communication systems and components.  The spectrometer’s high spectral resolution will make it possible to evaluate newly developed low linewidth tunable lasers and also allow the study of advanced higher order modulation formats in the optical domain.
