Scientific Advisory Board

The Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) is comprised of internationally recognised scientists with both industrial and academic backgrounds and a range of interests and expertise which will span the full spectrum of the consortiums scientific disciplines, and with a particular focus on expertise in the core research themes of INSPIRE. The SAB will meet annually.

The remit of the SAB is as follows:

  • Assess the operation and management of INSPIRE shared facilities
  • Critical assessment of progress made by the consortium.
  • Advise on strategic direction of INSPIRE research
  • Provide independent scientific advice to INSPIRE on specific scientific issues, including peer review.
  • Support and champion INSPIRE and its research.
